About the opportunity

Wesley Hall Community Centre has been at the centre of Highfields neighbourhood for many years, and is a trusted part of the community, delivering services for everyone, from antenatal to Elders Lunches. Since the pandemic began, we have supported thousands of families, elders, children, and homeless with food parcels, activities, breakfast clubs and more. Our services have never been needed so much. During this time, our Trustee Board has been very active in overseeing the Centre work, supporting staff, and planning for the future. We need Trustees to join us in delivering our vision.We are looking for committed community mined individuals, with experience in the following sectors - Finance; Legal; Mental Health; Youth Work; Fundraising; Marketing; Early Years;and more. Our Trustees meet monthly (currently on Zoom) - we have excellent relations with the managers and staff, and work well together.

  • Willing to take a DBS Check

Able to commit to 2 - 4 hours a week. Trustee meetings are usually Wednesday evenings from around 7pm. Flexibility to be able to come into the Centre in office hours will be beneficial
