Oral History Volunteer

CASE is delivering the Co-operative Living History Project, to record and celebrate the history of co-operatives in Leicestershire. Volunteers will be involved in recording oral histories.

About the opportunity

As part of the Co-operative Living History Project, we want to collect oral histories from people who have worked in co-operatives of all types, or have memories of them in their community.

Volunteers are an integral part of this, we need people to gather oral histories and collect stories. The information gathered will be collated into an exhibition celebrating this shared history, which will be in March 2021.

The oral history sessions will be conducted remotely, using phone calls or the internet, so this is a flexible opportunity and Covid-19 safe.

Access to a computer and the internet is necesssary.
