Designated First Aider at a Show.

Join our Front of House team as a designated First Aider for the theatre.

About the opportunity

For each performance in our theatre, we like to have a qualified First Aider present. In the unlikely event of a member of the audience requiring First Aid, we have someone on hand who is qualified to assist.

The theatre puts on 12 one week plays each year and a pantomime that runs for about 24 shows. Your commitment would be by agreement with our First Aid Co-ordinator. You can cover as many or as few nights as you wish and you will be one of a team. Performances are mostly in the evening, although there are regular Saturday matinees and afternoon & early evening pantomime performances.

First Aiders should hold a current valid “First Aid at Work” certificate or better.

Each evening that you attend you will receive two free tickets for the show, so you may bring a friend with you when you come. You are required to be at the theatre 30 minutes before the curtain rises and to stay after the show until the majority of our audience has departed – usually no more than 15 minutes after the final curtain. A First Aid kit will be provided for you by the theatre.

Currently, due to COVID, the theatre is dark but we are seeking to refresh our First Aiders’ list in anticipation of re-opening soon.
